Garda Vetting and time spent outside Ireland

I have an interview for a job in Dublin Airport there's a question if you have lived 6 months outside Ireland.

I was on Erasmus (for studying) for 8 months in Prague last year and it says I need police letter if I was outside the country for 6 months (for the garda vetting forms)? I was over and back regularly and wasn't out for more than 2 months at a time. I worked in the Dublin airport (for a different company) during the times before I went and worked for some time while I was home (and still have my airside pass). Do I really need a police form as the czech system is impossible to work with if you don't have czech fluently and as I wasn't out for 6 months at a time.

I'm in a little bit panic now after seeing the question.

I've googled this question and can't get a proper answer so if anyone knows or has experience please yet me know!
