Volvo s40 starting problem

    Hi have a volvo s40 2006. So this is the problem when I go out to car in morning I turn ignition wait for lights to go off on dash beeps 7 times finish turn ignition starts perfect. But if I drive for say 5 mins to shops etc turn of engine come back out car won't start. Sometimes makes clicking noise others just no noise. Also I can hear something like spinning. If I keep try start it can start within a few tries or it could be 5 10mins.

    Anyone had this problem before or any idea what is wrong so I can get it sorted as cheapness possible. Thanks
