Put about 1.25 litres of 5w40 into my car. 2007 Honda Civic 1.4 petrol. 129000km on clock.

Just noticed afterwards that it said diesel on the bottle. Was planning a full oil change in the next 1000km anyway, will it last till then?

    Should I be worried?

Depends what you already have in it, I dont think part synth with full synth mix well, I would get it changed.

Be grand, especially for that kinda miles til next service. I wouldn't worry about it myself.

Good stuff. It won't be long till its all changed anyway, just needed a top up as the oil light has been coming on the last couple of days.

A top up of incorrect grade oil is a hell of a lot better than running an engine with too little oil.

If the car is burning oil then you need to check more often so you catch it well before the warning light comes on.
