BBC websites - still having trouble accessing

    I know it was in the news that the BBC websites were attacked a few days ago.

    Since then, I've had trouble accessing the BBC News site. I'm getting intermittent but regular "connection reset" error messages. There doesn't seem to be a pattern, but it's happening frequently enough to be noticeable. I'm getting the errors using both my home UPC connection and my Meteor 4G connection - which is why I'm posting here rather than in the UPC or Meteor forums. It's happened to me on my laptop using Firefox, Pale Moon and Chrome, and I've also gotten very occasional errors using the BBC Sport app on my phone (Android). I've tried the PC using WiFi connections to my UPC and Meteor services, and got the errors on both, and I've had errors on the phone but only via Meteor 4G. Mind you, I've also got the BBC News app on my phone and I haven't had an error message on it yet, via Meteor 4G or UPC, even though I use it quite a lot.

    I'm not getting any errors on any other sites or pages at all.

    Has anyone else encountered this? Or does anyone have a suggestion for how to fix the problem?

    Happening to me too, phone with mobile data and pc. Seems to be worse in firefox. I guess we'll have to wait it out.

    Thanks. Can I ask if you're using different providers to me? I'm not looking to find out who your providers are, just checking if they're different to mine. I'm using UPC and Meteor.

    I just removed all the bbc cookies and it isn't happening again. I've never had that actually solve an issue before!

    Thanks. I did the same around the first time I posted but it had no effect for a while. But I haven't seen the error messages last night or this morning.
