    Hi all,

Looking for some advice about bus routes to the hospital. I was banking on the 14/15/140 as I know them from Rathmines only for someone to mention in passing they've all been re-routed with the Luas works. I've been around the Dublin bus website but can't find anything concrete on the best route that will now serve it. I've heard the 46A does but I can't see that in the real-time. If it does, is it still operating from D'Olier street?

    Thanks

46a still stops in D'Olier Street outside Spar & you will have to get off the 46a or even the 145 up to Lesson Street and walk up to it or you can get or get any bus that goes up Camden Street and walk down to it

The 14/15/140 still get you close by. They are now dropping you at Camden Street instead of Adelaide Road; a difference of 400 metres. Where are you coming from?

Ah if they're close enough then that's fine then, wasn't the impression I was given. I'm coming from Leixlip and I'm well used to those routes. Thanks for that.

If you've a car you can usually find parking very close to RVEE.

Otherwise the 66 to the side of Trinity (Nassau St) and then 46A from there to just before the bridge on Leeson St. It's a 5 minute walk to the RVEE from there.

If the times suit the 66x would leave you about a 10 minute walk away on Baggot St, pick-up is closer from the last stop on Leeson Street.

www.a-b.ie - put in your exact journey, dates and times.

The 66. 661 and 66b operate from Leixlip to Merrion Square - a 10-minute walk.
