Irish rail just tweeted that due to damage to the overhead lines, there are currently no DART services south of Dalkey

They have engineers currently working on it. In the meantime Dublin Bus accepting rail tickets for the area affected.

Just by the by, how do Dublin Bus accept tickets when Leap card has been used for the DART? Do they know that you have used the DART when you put the Leap card on the reader? Thanks.

Simply tell the driver that you are using the train in lieu of the DART. There won't be a need to tag onto the bus.
