EPG provider? OpenATV 5.1 / Zgemma Star H2

    Hello,

I'm struggling a bit to figure out how to setup my EPG for 7-day with a mix of terrestrial and satellite providers. I've configured Cool TV for the front end and CrossEPG for the backend.

What I end up with is a guide for terrestrial but not RTE 1 or UTV Ireland, nor BBC 3/4.

I figure it's a problem in the provider, but I've tried a number of them to no avail.

It could be that I'm going about this the "hard way" and that really I should just root the box and install a more common image atop it...

Any thoughts on what I should do would be appreciated!

    Thanks,
    :-Phil

The usual config is the set CrossEPG to "OpenTV" and select Astra 28.2. set to download each night at, say, 4AM and store to the HDD not internal memory. This should give ALL 28degree satellite info. Remember that BBC3/4 only broadcast after 7Pm so may show as "no info" during the day.
Terrestrial should populate once a channel is selected.

Hmm. That's what I have configured; while that's the explanation re: BBC, I don't have RTE 1 / UTV Ireland populated...

Crossepg is for satellite only...not for terrestrial..

Ah. So what does one configure to download 7-day terrestrial guide? (I guess there's something about the channels metadata that worked out that RTE2 from the CrossEPG feed was the same as the RTE2 terrestrial channel...)

On my boxes the terrestrial populate themselves once you select a channel. What happens when you switch to RTÉ1?

It knows what the current programme is, but there's nothing in the EPG.

Have any of you used a wooshbuild image for the H2. I have just bought a Zgemma H2 and i am wondering which is the best firmware to install.
