I own a 2008 1.8 125bhp Ford Mondeo. I was just wondering if anyone knew where I could confirm the capacity in litres of the fuel tank?

I've looked online and couldn't get a definitive answer. It's a hatchback. This site seems to reckon 70 litres:

Why do you want to know? For fuel consumption the best method is to brim the tank and drive for 100km or more, them brim it again to get fuel consumption.

Yep, I'm trying to work out fuel consumption as I started a new job where I have a 45 minute drive each way.

Use the briming method, you will know exactly how many km you did and how much fuel you used, if you want to totally anal you should use the same pump when briming again. Gauges in cars aren't accurate enough to calculate fuel consumption.
