    no big secret dtp if I remember correctly it was mixed about 25% tec7 and 75% fire cement

    but that's on a boiler max flue temp 250dg stove would be a lot hotter id say nearer 400dg possibly

    but I do remember a post from somebody a while back where they posted it was working for them on a stove

    What type of fire cement did you use?

    1200 dg kos is the 1 I use from the tube I find its not too runny as some can be


    I also have an ould tub in the van where u might have to use the fingers to apply a bit like in the firebird super q
