    To the poster who was told to post again just because the thread was old, yes the DBC beer was quite good, but ahead of its time. The stuff you found is very old, so it could go either way though. I've noticed low abv beers don't tend to age that well.

    DBC's marketing was very anti Guinness which, while it probably didn't attract too much attention, didn't help though people who worked for DBC went on to work for O'Hara's etc, so we haven't seen the last of them.

    Adversarial marketing seems to work for Wychwood (somehow - nearly put me off touching their stuff) but its probably just as well its mostly died out here. Porterhouse tried it a bit too.

    Because a lot of the time it can be like shouting into an empty room because the original posters are no longer active members, or the question has been answered already.
