Villa/Accommodation recommendations in the Algarve

    We are going to the Algarve for summer holidays next year for the first time.
    Has anyone any recommendations for villas or self catering for 2 adults and 2 kids.

    We normally go to Lisbon and stay with friends :)

    Google 'O Pomar' in Cabanas (near Tabira in East Argarve). Really inexpensive and most of the apartments and condos are Irish owned. The area is not as nice as the usual Argarve hot spots but the local beach is amazing and this complex has a fantastic pool and other amenities. It's only a 30 min drive from Faro airport.

    Oceanus aparthotel in olhos d'agua. Good option for families. Very near a large supermarket. Small quiet resort. Nice pool.
