    Hi ladies

I'm looking for some recommendations for decent Jeans.

I'm sick to death of buying jeggings that look great for a while but then become shapeless and faded.

I bought a 'good' pair of jeans in Topshop a few months ago, think they were about €65. However, they're faded already (not in a good way) and they're a thin material like jeggings.

Where do I get proper denim jeans that hold their shape? I wouldn't even know where to look.

    Thanks

I would highly recommend Salsa jeans. They are so comfortable, look great & wash really well. I have 2 pairs from Brown Thomas. They're over €100 each but well worth it.

I'm not a lady but I've found that anything that is labelled as 'stretch' or has elastane mixed in with the cotton (check the label, usually it's 98% cotton and 2% elastane/spandex etc) will be more comfortable but stretch out and lose it's shape after multiple washings.

You do seem to get what you pay for with jeans. I have a three year old pair of Hilfiger jeans that look as good as the day I bought them. Never faded or lost their shape. They've lasted so long that I'm sick to the teeth of them at this stage.

Mrs Timeban recently got two pairs of Lee jeans which she absolutely loves. Great fit, good range of styles and colours, and at about 80 quid won't break the bank.

She'd had several pairs before and are now her "go to" brand for jeans. They just suit her perfectly as she has long legs and can never get a pair long enough!

I got a gorgeous pair of skinny fit Lee jeans in TK Maxx a few years ago, they were so well fitting and made me feel good in them. I wore them so much they have now frayed in so many places that I can't really wear them out anymore! lol

TK Maxx is a good place to have a look for jeans as you will find loads of good brands and they would be a fraction of the prices. Hilfiger jeans are good too as someone else said. I bought a pair about 7 years ago and they are still in great condition. Not skinny fit mind you, just a bootcut pair, but they have washed really well. Now's the time to go looking with sales on.
