G'day! Noticed my 1.9CDTi 120 8v mkii Vectra was making a different noise than normal, a friend is certain that it is a leaking injector. Big job? Costly job?

Replaced the full clutch last month due to a rattly dual mass flywheel, so this is the last thing that I need just after Christmas.

If you changed a clutch you'll manage this no prob.
Some times they are a pig to get out without a puller.
They are clamped down and ther is a copper crush washer underneath.... That's prob what's leaking.. It will need replacing in any case and are only about a euro in a diesel specialists.
When you get it out you'll need to clean where it came out as it will be gummed up if leaking.
If you've a mechanic friend borrow some pullers and the tool to reface where the injector sits against few head.
Be careful of high pressure diesel aswell.. Do some reading and you'll be fine
    Marty.

Thanks Marty, I wish I could claim to have changed the clutch myself personally but it was a mechanic. I've read up on it and it seems handy enough with the correct tools and not too badly sick with the accumulated carbon deposit. I'm just wondering how much it would cost to replace the seals on all four injectors, mechanic is taking his time getting back to me.

Well i did my 4 in about 2 hours.
Pretty much the same engine...if they are accessible enough which i reckon they should be then you should have change from 100.
But id only change the 1 thats leaking.
