    Morning All,

My wife is not working professionally for last 6 years minding our children, and there will beat least two or three more before she will as the youngest child is only 9 months old. She does not have any formal training or course that would make job finding easy once she decides she is ready for work. She would like to do a course or training but we do not even know where to start. Is there any agency / organization where someone would have a time even to talk through what is available / applicable in her situation? For example, courses for unemployed - as she stays in home and minds the children - would these courses be available for her?
I would greatly appreciate if someone could point out right direction.

Best regards to all and thank you for having a time to read this.

I can't answer all your questions but I do know that for courses for the unemployed you have to be in receipt of unemployment benefit. Your wife probably won't qualify for that as she is not "available for work" in that she is voluntarily at home minding the children. It's something to look into though.

You could try www.getreskilled.com , they do a lot of pharmaceutical courses which is a very healthy industry in Ireland
