Applying for planning permission. Do you need an Irish registered architect?

    Hi all,

I want to self-build my first home. I already have a trusty builder and I am on a site hunt at the moment...

I also personally know a very good architect. He is Spanish and has no business in Ireland. Do you know whether an architect has to be registered in Ireland to apply for planning permission?

    Thanks

No, anyone can do the drawings/submit a planning application once the correct details are submitted and drawings are to scale.
