Next time you have one, instead of throwing it in the bin, get a rolling pin and roll both sides so it's pretty flat. Then stick the slick in the toaster, you'll probably need to cut it in half to fit the toaster.

On the Brennan's front I must say they have the have the worst package ever for a sliced pan in this day and age! Utterly stupid, impossible to open right enough to seal in a way. The yellow package btw.

Would have to be toasted for me. But yes, real butter please, and good jam.

While I like strawberry, I do miss the jam variety from back home. But I've started making jam myself, to have some different flavours going.
So right now, I'd be spooning some beautiful pineapple, mango and rum jam onto my buttered slice of toast.

Butter is solid yellow slidy grease and needs to be killed.

Also, strawberry is the worst jam. The process turns a tangy fruit into a dark and dull mush. Raspberry jam retains its raspberiness. Blackcurrant has life about it too.

Basically, OP, yuck and double yuck.
