Connecting Flight query

An old friend is trying to travel home for Christmas and has to connect flights and are worried about the return ones. They'll arrive at the stopover airport at 10:05 and then will be getting their next flight at 11:55. Can anyone with travel experience advise on whether or not that's enough time to get off the plane, through passport control and then back through security to get to the next flight?

That is loads of time, you don't usually go through security again between flights but if you do have to, then you are given enough time for this. Trust me, I had a flight to Hong Kong via London last year with just 45 mins between getting off one flight and on the next- I had 10 mins to spare, just follow the connecting flights signs and up the pace of your walking and you should be fine. I have never heard yet of a person who missed a connecting flight.

Please state the airport, ailrine and whether they have checked baggage.

For example if it was Dublin and they had no checked baggage they could just pass customs and follow transfer route which has no security and theat connection is doable.
