I cannot believe that the people responsible for issuing these cards are still in business. Five years ago I did a Safepass course and had to carry a letter around with me for months because there was a "backlog" for issuing the actual card. It seems things haven't changed. My son took the course in September and is still waiting for his card. Any calls are met with a mumbled, incoherent response. Just how hard is it to issue one of these things? I applied for the new passport card and received it within 2 days after uploading my photo. What is going on with Safepass and to whom can I complain?

Who have you been speaking to. The training provider or solas, solas issue the cards within 3 weeks max now once they have all the information and payments. They really have improved. The blockage will be with the provider

I put workers through regularly and have the cards out within a few weeks (2-3). This is consistent over last 5 years of me dealing with them. I use a local trainer and he's very busy all the time, never any word of a backlog or delays.

The provider denies this and has again referred him back to Solis. They say they have had numerous complaints and that the problem is with Solis. I'm inclined to agree
