Do Tesco phones need to be unlocked?

I was thinking of getting this phone for Christmas but does it need to be unlocked? http://www.tescomobile.ie/phones/displayPhone.aspx?p=282 The last phone I got from Tesco did not need to be unlocked. Wish I bought two of them!
