Got a bad feeling re Storm (Christmas) Eva so am posting early to wish all boardsies a HAPPY CHRISTMAS in whatever way makes it that way for you! Missed doing this one year when a gale moved the digiweb dish that provides all my communications so aiming to outwit it this time.. the lane here is very very bad and not going anywhere now. Here, tomorrow Christmas Eve is always very quiet, a vigil. Heard this morning one of my extended family has had a heart attack, in Canada so even more of a vigil. As darkness approaches I will switch on all the Christmas lights, or candles if the power has gone. And prepare for the feast.. parboil potatoes, parsnips and carrots ready for roasting, dismember the second turkey as I have a delicious recipe using the white meat and the critters get the raw meat. if still can, will call Canada early on; they are 8 hours behind... Hoping to get the Nine Lessons and Carols in the afternoon, but no radio or TV so here online is grand..... So a quiet Christmas and well content with that... HAPPY CHRISTMAS wherever and however! Mine will be...

Best of luck for Christmas, Graces7! I think Storm Eva is supposed to be a bit intense but it shouldn't last too long (hopefully)!) And sorry to hear about the loss in your family.

Wesołych Świąt! (as we say in these here parts).

Thanks and she is alive l She was feeling bad and they got her to the hospital just before the heart attack. Made all the difference.
