Safe to mount 32" TV directly into insulation without beam?

So I have been across the wall and back several times with a magnet in the corner where we want to mount this TV. It does not seem to stick anywhere that would suggest there is a beam we could mount to. I took some blank faceplates off dry wall boxes and I can feel there is a stud in a perfect position, but it is back 3/4 inches from the plaster.

We have these things, not sure what they are called, you screw them into plasterboard and then you can put a screw into them. They are supposed to hold 15kg each. They only go in about 1 inch. I could fit 6 of them into the arm wall mount.

The TV weights 5.kg, and the arm probably less than 2kg. Behind the plasterboard is hard Kingspan insulation. Would it be safe to mount the arm only into the plaster and insulation? Should I try to pick some sort bolts or very long screws tomorrow that will be long enough to mount the arm through the slab, several inches of insulation, and then into the beam? I had thought behind the slab there would be beams between the insulation, but like I said I have only found a beam in this spot several inches behind the insulation.

Either way would be fine,I've fitted many kitchens, where for some reason, studs were spaced further than the "rule" or where were missing,so plaster plugs like you describe are what's used in that circumstance-but go for the metal type- or for backup use an 5 or 6x 80 mm or similiar woodscrew into the beam behind!

It wouldn't be the weight I would be worried about, but the cantilever that is created along with it by using a swing arm on the tv.

I have 100mm insulated plasterboard in my extension, and I hung a 55" tv directly to it using these bolts that you drill a pilot hole, then screw in a screw that when its twisted it pulls back on the wall plug to creat a blob do mass behind the plasterboard.

I'm sorry, it's not the greatest of explanations, but I'll try find what I used.

Not sure if it was these exact ones, but I paid €10 for 4 in the hardware on Georges Street, in Dublin City Centre.

Thanks for the replies. I went to Woodie's, bought a socket ratchet set (I knew this would save me a lot of trouble from experience) and some 160mm x 8m hex screws. I widened the two holes in the middle of the mount ever so slightly with an 8mm bit, the only place there were holes that would be in line with the beam, and then secured the mount directly to it. The beam was 110mm in so this meant 50mm of the screws are planted firmly in it. Then, on the surrounding 6 holes I used those metal plug things (what the hell are they called? :) ) that cut and grip into plaster, and secure 6 screws into them for good measure. It worked out very well in the end!

I found that the best fixings I have used yet are the Gripit fixings, they come in various different colours which denote the diameters/weight.
You can also get an undercutting tool which allows you to clean the area behind the plasterboard of insulation which can affect the way that most fixings open behind the slab.
