    I was just wondering if the fit in properly mainly. I was going to get halfords to install as I wouldn't be very capable of putting it back together.

    How does the hands free work is there an external microphone?

    Is it worth the expense?

    Yeah it fits nicely,they will need to fit a surround to it. Hands free connects to the phone via bluetooth, you can answer and dial off the screen etc and play your music from spotify etc

    Yeah theres a microphone needed,they will just tuck it up near the sun visor, it will be included though you dont need to pay extra.
    Only thing to add is on VW there in no ACC (accessory) setting on the ignition barrel.
    What this basically means is that if you switch the car off the headunit will die, to have is on while the car isnt actually started you have to turn the key to the point where all the lights on the dash come on, doesnt bother me but might waste battery if you were going to be sitting in the car without it on for ages.

    That looks great. To be honest I won't be sitting in it for too long so that bit would not worry me. At least I won't be leaving the radio on when I leave the car.

    That sounds super thanks for all the information.

    One final question the price €316 plus €30 for install and anther €20 for the surround and cables so about €360ish all in. Do you think it is worth it.

    To be honest you can get the one I have on halfords for about 200 so you could look at that its not app compatible but add up whether you will use that feature much. Obviously it sounds a lot better also so think it is when you consider hands free is probably 100 on its own.
