Not sure what forum to post this, but I just got a letter I'm selected for a household budget survey. Paperwork looks legit but the way it's phrased it doesn't sound optional. Do I have to take part? It says someone will call week commencing 30.11 but I only got it today. Week before Xmas is taking the piss a bit, especially as you have to keep an expenditure diary!!

    Edit: it's CSO

    It's legit and optional.

It is also a complete pain in the neck to do.
