Now that episode 7 is out of the way........
    Star Wars: Episode VIII (2017)
Hayden Christensen, who portrayed Anakin Skywalker and Darth Vader in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones (2002) and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (2005), will reprise his role for this installment. Staff crew sent to the USA to start training Hayden Christensen for the movie.

Christensen gets a bad wrap, but the boy did what he could with that diatripe Lucas called a script. There were glimpses of talent in him, unfortunately drowned out by the wooden script. I'd be more than happy to see him get another shot, but in what context...a force ghost??

Training him to do what exactly, use more than one facial expression/tone of voice?

He's definitely a better actor then he came across in the prequels and in films like Jumper. I'd be happy to have him back should the story need it.

Anyone who wants to see what he's capable of, just watch Shattered Glass. He's a great example of how a ****e script can rule an actor's part.

He acted as required, a wooden spoilt brat, same as Luke whinging in Ep IV

In fairness, proven good actors like Ewen McGregor, Samuel L. Jackson, Natalie Portman and Yoda were all terrible in the prequel trilogy. Maybe he isn't as bad as we thought. The script was terrible.

I don't think you can compare their performances. Luke was believable, and (despite his initial whining) likeable

Exactly, Natalie Portman is an oscar winning actress, not their fault that Lucas provided a shyte script ... and back on topic, why the hell would he be back ???

    as a force ghost? -

I for one am hopeful that the Imperial March makes a return.

It's my favourite original piece of music from any film ever.

They'll need something for introducing Snoke in the flesh. I'm guessing having an injured or disfigured Kylo Ren and General Hux arriving to a base or planet in a Star Destroyer and taking KR's cool shuttle down to it will be the opening scene. The bad guys are always the first to be shown.

I don't think the Emperor/Plagueis/Snoke theme would work just after the opening credits, but something more dramatic like the Imperial March, or the new trilogy's version of it would.

Are we sure that he has been cast for VIII.

I'm not doubting it per se, but I was thinking what if he has been cast for Rogue one.

There are already rumours that Vader plays a part. It would make sense for Hayden Christensen to reprise his character.

Then again, I could be wrong.
