Autologous chondrocyte implantation (Knee)

Does anyone know if the ACI procedure is available in Ireland?

My knees are badly affected from playing squash and this seems to be the best treatment at this moment.

I have had an arthroscopy on my right knee and I have been advised that the cartilage underneath my knee is very badly degenerated and that I may have to consider knee replacements within 10 years.

I am only 34. Autologous chondrocyte implantation (Knee) seems like the ideal treatment but it seems like I am going to have to go abroad to have this carried out.

    Thanks in advance.
