Hello, I just changed car recently. Love the car but on wet mornings when I get in the car with the shoes souls wet, my feet slip on the pedals. They just don't seem to have the same grip as previous car pedals.

Can you get spurious or OEM car pedal covers with a bit more grip on them to slip over the existing pedals? Searched through online and lots of hits but not a lot for car I have

Are they worn or something. It's an unusual complaint.
you can replace the rubbers with genuine parts on alot of cars. I'd try that first in case the current ones have hardened or something.
is it possible that this car has rubber flour mats and as such your shoes are not being dried as much as other car when you get in.
I notice this when I chance my carpet mats for rubber mats for the winter season. Shoes tend to be slippy for a minute or 2 specially at fuel stations etc whereas the carpet mats will take a small bit of water.

No not worn, just less grip than I'm used to and for the first few min I find my foot slipping off the pedals, especially clutch
    Carpet mats aswell.

Obvious question, but are you wearing the same shoes you wore with your old car?

Get a new set of rubbers at the dealer and go from there.

The pedal looks to be all one piece moulded with the arm, so no rubbers on them

I wonder did they spray something on them to clean them when the dealer valeted it. Might he worth getting a wet cloth out to them first.

How about giving them a good clean with fairy and hot water first? Might be some oily residue on the pedals causing the to slip when wet

Do this first , and if still slippy, roughen with sand paper ?
