    Has anyone gone to the Spa in the Kingsley? If so was it any good

    Just back from a trip to the Kingsley Spa and i must say we all were very impressed..Its lovely if anyone is looking to go or give a gift voucher for it. We went in about 2 hours before we were suppose to and twas grand we were shown everything giving robes and slippers and spent the time in the spa before going up for treatments very relaxing so it is

    How was the surrounding area, was it flooded?

    Have the owners made improvements to protect the building?

    Stayed there Tuesday night. Arrived about 5ish and the underground carpark was closed off... Didn't inspire confidence. Woke next morning to see the sand bags at the entrance. Car park was fine, but I didn't see any obvious flood defences like you'd see in Mardyke UCC. Not sure that it'd be any different from 2010 if the circumstances were the same.

    confidance was it? Sounds like you dont fancy the place.. It was fine the road was flooded more down the Lee Fields side but thats nothing new it floods thats it... they had sand bags up alright as all other places did..

    The spa was great cant wait to go back
