Is it possible to add a foreign driver to my policy temporarily?
It is someone with a US drivers license and i'm currently with 123/RSA.

Will call them when they open but hoping for a speedier answer (considering time difference and all).

Anyway, it will help others with a similar question in future.

I'm not 100%, but I would imagine it's highly unlikely, or at best, massively expensive.

If it's an automatic car possibly, if it's not no chance.

    Update:

Checked with company. It is possible.
The driver will be classed as Irish Provisional licence.
Cost for the addition depends on driver age, number of years driving, accidents etc.

So it helps for visitors, christmas etc.

There will be a load-on on your policy but probably less than than the 700-1200 euro quoted for a week during xmas/new year for a decent vehicle rental.
