Beatles "1" - new stereo remix version

Any thoughts on this? Most of the Beatles' stereo albums are crying out for a remix, so this is a good place to start. The Yellow Submarine Songtrack album, and the sections of "Love" that weren't mash ups (e.g. Revolution, Here Comes The Sun, Nowhere Man), vastly improved the sound of the recordings and made them sound more modern.

On first hearing, something like Penny Lane is much punchier - it's great having the vocals and drums centered. The fact that up to Abbey Road the Beatles had no input into the stereo mixes makes it "OK" to remix them, in terms of not changing what they intended to put out - the mono mixes are the "true" Beatles albums, to some.
