Bit of a strange question here..

So I've heard that it's possible to wire the horn in a car to the alarm and the alarm to the horn. Is this possible and how is it done?

If the alarm is aftermarket, bring the car to your local car alarm installer & ask them if they can help. If it can be done it's normally a negative switched circuit from the alarm system but you often need to use a relay for it.

Naw I've never installed an aftermarket alarm. I just assumed that there was an alarm on it from factory.. But not sure.. Anyway it's a 99 Yaris..

Anything is possible but I'm a little bit confused as what you're trying to achieve here.
You want to install an alarm in the car?

Roll down your drivers window, lock the car in whatever way is normal & leave it for 2 minutes. Then go wave your hand in the car or open the door from the inside, if it makes noise you have an alarm.

I don't believe those cars came with a factory fitted alarm so you'll probably need to contact your local car security shop anyways. If you're getting an alarm fitted ask them to hook it up to the car horn.

I wanted to wire me horn to the car alarm to give it a frightening but funky tune...

Ah... Right.. I was looking on ebay and it seems to be all general lee musical horns. I'd just be looking for like a trumpet tone horn as novelty horns pass the n.c.t, but not musical horn's. It's just something for a laugh really...

Most alarms can do this with a relay.

You did brighten up my morning.

Ya, it would be handy if it had an alarm. But it doesn't so I'll just have to pick up an aftermarket horn somewhere..

Haha :D I'm glad to be of service..
