Have upgraded Sky TV to HD+ and as a result have the old Sky+ box spare, anyone ever put the HDD from Skybox into a PC and if so have you been able to access the files on it? Reason for asking, an old clip recorded from TV 7 years ago featuring the daughter, would like to know if I'm ever likely to be able to get it back?

Unlikely, pretty sure the HDDs are encrypted

The simplest way to save the clip would be to play it on a TV with a DVD recorder hooked up

I tried to do this as well as the mother was on Winning Streak and I used programs that were supposed to decrypt the data but it never worked, so just ended up scrapping it
