318 pricing

Hi all, Looking to upgrade in the new year and going to try selling my 318 privately first. Just want to get opinions on the price for the car. Its 2010 318 business edition, 115k miles, in great condition, built in sat nav which is unusual for the 318 Imported from the UK in Jan/Feb 2014. Putting it for NCT over the holidays so it should pass that without any trouble.

My initial thoughts on price are in the 15k-16k bracket, just looking to get opinions if this is a fair and realistic expectation

For a 6yr old 318 with 115k miles? If that's what they're going for on the market then there's a lot of gullible people out there. Personally I would consider that around 5-6k overpriced!

I understand where you're coming from Smash. I would agree if it were a bog standard 3 series but looking at pricing on carzone it would be at the lower end of the pricing scale for a spec that is better than most other 3 series out there.

    Your in dealer prices there

they include some form of warranty.

You are either going to have to drop your price somewhat or trade.

Unless the car is ultra clean or has something special about the interior spec then it may be a while selling.

    Still, I hear 318 and I think:

€10,200 318D SE https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/2010-bmw-320d-price-drop/10886827 and that's still expensive to me because it needs VRT paid.

I'm surprised they get the money they ask.

The interior spec definitely makes the car a bit of a rarity. Built in sat nav, entertainment system and all that. Very similar looking interior here minus the sunroof. The dashboard looks like its out of 5 series
