Hi, I recently visited Kennedy Space Center with my son and he is just fascinated by what he saw. What really caught his attention was the Saturn V rocket and the Apollo missions as a whole, not just the successful ones but everything to do with it including the tragedies and the politics.

I'd like to find something for him for Christmas, be it audio, visual or literary to expand his knowledge of the subject so who better to ask than you folks?

Great stuff there but I'll be honest, he's having a little difficulty reading so that might be more useful a few years down the road. Documentaries and the like could be of more benefit. I'm sure I could easily search and find many but specific recommendations would be much appreciated.

"For all mankind" is a great film and could be of interest. You can buy in through the UK Amazon site, but if you search for it on the US one you can see short previews from it.

There's also suggestions for other, similar themed movies, which might be of interest. I saw 'For all Mankind' a few years ago in the NCH (actually won tickets to it through Boards). It's an amazing film.

The movie of 'The Right Stuff' and Chuck Yeager's autobiography (first man to break the sound barrier) are what got me into a life-long love of all things related to space exploration when I was a kid. It's never too young!!

The PSB album came out this year and is easily my album of the year. The band compose music and weave archival dialogue from the missions, news and propaganda reports and it really is an excellent album
