    Hi all.
I have just imported a 98 Valtra 6400 twin-trac from Germany for forestry use. The tractor has 7,800 hrs and is in great condition; however I brought her for a spin up the road and a problem has arisen. In and around the yard the tractor is perfect, idles beautifully and pulls perfectly in low gears: However, once on the road it is slow to pick up and won't top more than 30k. It can't even pull the top two gears, just keeps dying. Any incline at all kills it. Feels like it's only 50hp. I have heard of fueling issues on these 6 and 8 series tractors? Any ideas, inputs would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried changing filters and bleeding it? It could be something like an O ring letting in air.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
