    Hi All,

Any suppliers around Dublin where I could pick up a Mira or possibly triton shower tomorrow? Or am I stuck with woodies / b&q?

    Thanks

Yep, Woodies, B&Q and possibly Homebase, otherwise wait until Monday. Although Woodies often do good prices on the T.90, so it might be worth just picking one up if you are stuck.

Woodies are the same price on triton t90 as most builder providers. Has always been the case

Woodies are have triton t90 for 229.99,you can go on their website and reserve it for collection. There is not a huge savings going to a builders provider.

Thanks guys, I got over to b&q this evening, didn't realise they were open till 8. I picked up a t90 for €219. All sorted now.

Basically this afternoon I was sorting out a different problem with the shower doors. I banged on the wall with the shower on it and a few sparks flew out of it and into the tray, never seen anything like it. Rcbo was tripped, opened up shower covered in carbon (like them all).

When I went to strip out the old Mira shower I got some shock, have a pic for the wtf thread.

There was a very old wood screw sitting on top of the heating tank. When I banged the wall it basically shorted between the live terminal on the tank and the top of the tank which was earthed. It was highly dangerous, must of been put there by whoever installed it.
