I'm always on the lookout for Nespresso compatible pods - I used to pick them up in France before they became available here. For the last few months, I have been using the Super Valu ones - Lungo and Ristrettro do it for me. But yesterday I bought a box of Super Valu 'Java' - they seem to be new, and I think they are excellent. Anyone else tried them?

I believe, roasting date of pods is vital .They are excellent, because they fresh.
Just give it a try in month-two, you won't be so impressed IMO

A friend of mine saw an ad for Super Valu Columbian pods - I haven't seen them yet. Has anyone tried them?

    Hi,
I have purchased an nespresso coffee machine and I was going to buy the cheaper coffee pods that are available now, but someone told me that these will damage the machine.
has anyone any experience of this happening or is it just scare mongering.
    TIA.
