    Curious. I'm shipping cards from Waterford to Dublin. The parcel went to the Cork Mail Center as 'On Route to Customer' then routed to the Portlaoise Call Center as 'Item in Depot' since 3am this morning with no update as to what's going on or why it wasn't sent out for delivery.

    Parcel has in large hand written text the delivery address on the front and smaller on the back the undelivered address (underlining several times undelivered as I have had An Post mistake this for the destination address).

    Anybody experienced this?

    If one sorting centre is swamped with mail they route mail through other centres where some sorting may be done before it is routed to local depots.
