What's people's opinions and views on leaving form work in a foundation?

I've a strip foundation that ply was used to shutter one side. Nothing was put onto the ply to allow ease of removal. I could do more damage trying to take it off. Would it be best to leave it it is it a must that it must be removed?

    Thanks.

    Thanks lads.

It's a wall at the minute but the fella who owns the house was saying he might turn it in to a bar / games room in the new year. Just wondering if it would effect it.

No it won't be in his way. I've no pics I'm afraid.

    Cheers.

Could you not just drop an old blade of a skill saw down the depth of the ply less a mill or so and cut it out in sections

If the ply is to the side of the foundation, no harm will come from leaving it in place. It will just rot away over time.
