Has anyone been able to get goods delivered only after mid-day, 12 noon or 1pm.

I know you can request that Driver rings you an hour before delivery but they don't always do that anyway.

I was thinking next time when ordering to say something like,

Please deliver goods anytime after 1pm only and if this is not possible please cancel the order.

I know about Parcel Motel btw.

Not likely to find any delivery company that does that. Most plan a delivery route to deliver to loads of people along that route, so they won't change their plans to delivery to you at a time you like. (These days couriers try to be as efficient as possible to cut down on fuel and get a few hundred parcels done within a tiny amount of time)

There are exceptions of course, but they're rare or expensive. Usually, if your buying a high value item, a large and heavy item, or from a retailer offering expensive courier options, then you may be able to get your stuff there at a set time.

DPD are the next best, they won't delivery before or after a time you want, but they give you a delivery window ahead of time, so you can be there or have it delivered another day.
