We are having a small wedding of approx 30 guests in a Georgian House we have rented for the weekend in June. We're stumped for what to do for after dinner. Would really appreciate any ideas? Was thinking of maybe an interactive quiz and dj to follow?

A quizz would be a great idea to get people interacting with eachother..
Could do a treaure hunt also have prizes for kids if their are kids and if not then bottles of beer or wine for the winners.
Have games out on the lawn we had swing ball and badminton at our own and people loved it...
Bring a wii and get some Karoke going
Could be an ideal time to take photos also if ye had a photo booth set up to capture everyone then..
    Beer pong battle

DJ defo for after all this or just yer own music..

Giant pictionary game done on a easel so everyone can see. you could break people up into groups and the winners get a prize

Weddings are fun times anyway and enforced fun can be a right pain for some...

What time is the meal ending at and how long do you reckon the speeches will last for?

What way are the tables going to be laid out?

If I was going for entertainment, I'd go for something not so intrusive like a close up magician moving from table to table...

We went for the kind of band that people could dance to, or not if they didnt want to. The music was lovely. Something like that?

I was at a small wedding recently & there was no entertainment after the meal. We all adjourned to the bar (it was in a hotel but the restaurant part) & chatted the night away. Left later than I've left some larger weddings. I actually found it really nice not to be competing with a band or dj to chat to someone & catch up with them. Maybe a piano player for background music but personally that's the most I would do.

I was at a small wedding and they had Manila Swing - I think that's what they were called, they were a Filipino quartet and they were amazing - could play anything. They played away in the corner while everyone just worked away.

You need to read your crowd carefully. Enforced "fun" could send half the guests up to their rooms.
