Contacting revenue (apart from phone). Email or Letter or PAYEAnytime?

I have a query for revenue and was told they couldn't handle the particular query over the phone and instead suggested sending a letter to the O'Connell Street office.

I would have thought I could contact them via email or the secure MyEnquiries tool as well, or is this less likely to get a quick response?

If a letter, who would it be addressed to for PAYE queries?

From a practitioners's perspective, I find that My Enquiries is usually the most efficient way of getting something sorted.

Speaking generally, emails are supposed to be answered in the same time frame as a letter. However, with Revenue promoting online services heavily, emails are usually answered very quickly. Of course, this will depend on how technical your query is

They did respond to my email pretty quickly (received last night, within 2 days of sending) essentially saying I should use MyEnquiries :pac:
