Farm Insurance

I recently inherited a farm from an uncle who died last month. The land will not be legally in my name for a few months I have been advised by the solicitor until probate it carried out.
I want to insure the farm for public liability but a very well known farm insurance company would not insure me as the land is not in my name yet.
I am concerned that if somebody got injured on the farm that I will be held responsible.
How can I insure the farm for public liability in the interim for the next 3 or 4 months until the land is legally in my name.
I do not have any other land so this is my first time involved in farming.
I welcome any advice please as I am very concerned by not having public liabilty insurance.

    Hello.

This is the Newbies & FAQ forum. Its purpose is for users to ask questions about the boards.ie site itself.

The question you have asked does not belong here. You'd have much better luck if you asked in our Farming & Forestry forum, and take it from there.

    Thanks,

    -Shield.
