Anybody want a short term Sky+HD subscription?

    Hi all. Hope this is ok to post here, mods delete if not.

    I am currently subscribed to Sky on the original package with the Sky+HD Pack added. I am moving abroad at the end of January and Sky tell me I can't cancel my subscription, not possible even though I offered to buy out.
    My only option is to find someone to take over my contract and transfer it to them.

    So, if anybody was thinking of getting Sky, or if it would suit someone to have a short term contract, get in touch and we can organise it.

    The contract is up in July and the monthly cost is €26.50

    They told me the transfer will be free.

    They will let you transfer the account but the account will always be in your name. Post up what you have explained here on their talk to forum. You should be able to buy out the remaining months of your contract.

    Thanks, they seem to have conveniently neglected to fill me in on the more important bits of information when I was on the phone earlier. I'll head to the talk to forum and see what they say.
