Amazon France Prime (Premium) - Worth getting?

    Are there any advantages to Amazon Premium France? Can we qualify?

    Currently Amazon France Premium is on offer for €29 for the year instead of €49. Seems like an excellent deal, and I'm very tempted to go for it, but are there many advantages?

    With the Exchange rate being so poor with Amazon UK at the minute, this seems even better.

    Apparently for orders above €5 if you choose fast delivery rather than express, Amazon offers €1.. (Not sure if that applies to Irish customers)

    Clothes I'd guess could be cheaper and electronics already are.

    Current shipping rates to Ireland are:

    3-5 days €7.50 + €1.30 per kg
    2-5 days €8.00 + €2.00 per kg

    I'm guessing I'd get my €29 back over the course of the year anyway.

    It seems like it could/should be a good thing to get, but I may be missing loads of things. Is it worth getting?

    I figured that would be the case, and it wouldn't really bother me.
    But for overall prices of items including delivery, do you think it may be worth going for?

    I was under the impression we get cheaper shipping, add to that the already cheaper items, I thought it may be worth getting.
    Is that wrong?
