education discount in the north?

Someone I know is looking to buy a mac and is currently a student. They want to pick it up in belfast as thats where they are for the holidays but they are a ucd student, would it be possible for them to avail of the education in the north or does their college have to be registered there? Thanks :)

I'm pretty sure it's valid in the North - as long as you're a student they're happy.

You will be fine for most student cards for Irish colleges, but I'd ring in advance and double check.
