Will THY suffer as a result of current spat between Turkey and Russia

I came across this last night:

Although it is reported as an error fare, I doubt it actually is. I then checked this:

I for one would have normally jumped on a flight to Tokyo or Osaka for less than 350! But really with Sultan Tayyip the Mad and Tsar Vladimir Topless, even the most rational thinker would be slightly worried about flying anywhere with THY, especially eastwards.

And I think that's the reason behind their slashing of their fares. I wonder if they will suffer further if the conflict escalates in their neighbouring Syria and if Turkey fails to stem flow of Daesh volunteers. They have spent years building up THY to a vast operation but it could go up in smoke within weeks!

Wouldn't read into the error fares much. Turkish frequently have a error fares/very good fares on secret flying.

Dunno about Turkish Airlines, but Santy has made an announcement, he'll be avoiding the place this year
