crush gate

    Has anyone got a morris crush gate or crush crate. Putting in a new yard and im half thinking of one.

    I have a gate from O Donovan Engineering in coachford, €330 has been well tested & still going strong 4 years later. Its a semi automatic. Have seen few cheaper but firm believer in you pay for what you get.

    Up to 650kg Bullocks....few months ago had lovely black limo's who took a run at it & only for inch bolts onto silage pit wall they would Hav taken it straight off the mounts.

    Suckler cows test it and tend to wasp the gate of some sort making it difficult to close it times

    Have a morris gate one year and can highly recommend one . Cattle generally put head in gate easily and gate is very strong. regards
