Which of these would be considered the better ivermection injection instead of using the more expensive Ivomec ?
It's for use on weanlings, 'year and a halfs' and cows. Will also be giving the 'year and a half's' and cows a dose of Endofluke.

Ya was looking at using turbomec as well, have used it before, nothing died anyway. Good idea for endofluke as well. Same drug as fasinex, less than half the price.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Ha! I bought 3 bottles of this stuff a few year ago, nothing died on me either, including the worms. It's fcuking useless. Tried Bimectin based on a Vets recommendation and found it just as useless. I've given up on Ivermec generics.

Did you do an egg count? How would you test it?

Nothing that scientific. Was using turbomectin 2 years ago on calves during summer/Autumn. Invariably would have to give them Albex two weeks after as the turbo was having no effect on scouring or coughing. Same with Bimectin last year. This year used Cydectin LA and there wasn't a cough or scour out of them. I'd love if these generics were more effective as they're cheap and easy to administer, but not to my experience.

Looks like they are cheap for a reason.

I think so. Told my vet about my experience with turbomectin and he said it was a waste of time, but Bimectin was great. He claimed that because it was made by Channelle it was streets ahead of other generics, something he claimed they do very well.

Don't know what I'll do now myself, maybe Ivermec super. 500ml for 200 quid.

    Don't know what I'll do now ...

I'd be inclined to do a egg reduction test on any further ivermectins you buy. One explanation is that you've resistance present. Cypermethrin may have worked just better enough, for now. Either way it would give you information.
