I sent in a CV a couple of months ago to An Post inquiring about Postman jobs, they sent a letter of receipt back to me. I was told by a friend and a workmate from Dublin however that those jobs are kind of sewn up in that they're given to relatives or friends in the loop. Has anybody heard similar?

Yep like a lot of places it's who you know.... virtually impossible to get in.

An Post is really bad for that. My father worked for them and I've done a few stints there as well. So has my sister. Half the place are related to each other.
