Electric Shower - Mains or Tank feed?

    Hi

Just wondering if it's ok to replace tank fed electric shower with a mains fed one and what would the difference be? There is good pressure on the water supply to the house if that makes any difference. There seems to be a big gap in the prices between the two types.

    Thanks

If your mains water supply fulfills the criteria for the installation of a mains fed unit, then the most noticeable difference is how quiet the mains fed unit is.
